Долго думал насчет загрузки данной работы по причине того, что по своей сути это перемонтаж оригинального клипа. Я как то случайно наткнулся на это видео и меня очень сильно зацепил стиль анимации и особенно цвета. Цвета просто наслаждение. В это же время я нашел на просторах ютуба трек, который начал у меня заедать и я автоматически начал представлять оригинальный клип под эту музыку. Сочетание мне довольно таки понравилось (хотя трек, должен признать, довольно специфический) и поэтому я решился таки взяться за работу. В мою перемонтажку не вошло лишь пару оригинальных кадров, а остальные довольно приятно уселись на свои места (что для меня = успехов). Выкладываю как обычно с целью того, чтобы работа нашла своего зрителя, которому она так же понравится и принесет положительные эмоции как и мне. Если вы не один из этих зрителей, то извиняюсь за то, что потратил ваше время.

Out of the Water

I'm not gonna lie... but halfway through this, I was kinda losing the motivation to finish this because, well, it wasn't easy trying make a decent AMV from an anime almost nobody remembers (though I do LOVE this anime). So basically, with the best of my abilities (and hours of watching endless video editing tutorials), I got it done anyway. I was actually hoping to get this submitted for AWA P.R.O. this year, but because of classes and finishing this, I submitted some of my other AMVs in other categories instead.

The aesthetic used for this AMV is to show the wonders of going out into the world, and discovering the true and wonderful beauty of it, despite its darkness and life's downsides.

This pretty much marks my 19th AMV overall, and I want to dedicate this video to PieandBeer, whose video, "The Chariot", was where I first heard the song, thus giving the perfect song for this anime.

Anyway, enjoy!

Here is my Indigo IC Entry 2020
First of all i wanna thank the judges for the 24 hour extension,
Would not have managed to finish the video this way if it wern´t for that.

I have never spent this much time editing for an IC, i have been working day and night since day one to make to make this video!

I hope you guys enjoy this tribute to this fantastic movie.
At first i wanted to make a Death Parade video for the IC but since i didnt find any songs in Drama/psyche that i liked i decided to switch source and make an entierly different video.

ps. as i feel right now i never wanna use the pentool ever again...

Комментарий автора: What makes this video different from my previous videos:

This video was a major transition from my FF ones. One Day is the first music video I've made using footage from an anime and not Final Fantasy. A few people had said they wanted to see somehting other than FF videos from me, so now I finally made one, and I'm very happy with it. This is also the first video I made using my new computer and Adobe Premiere. The effects are much more sophisticated and proffessional-looking and I could finally use the effects I wanted to with Premiere. I used the Premiere avisynth plugins to directly edit the VOB's from the DVD and so this video has awesome picture quality, which my previous videos lacked.

The anime/music combination:

After watching the Ah! My Goddess movie, I knew I had to do an MV to it just because the animation was beatiful and I owned the DVD. My older sister suggested a few songs to me, and I particularly felt the FFH CD fit the movie best, so I borrowed the CD from her and decided on this song because it suited Belldandy and her personality.

The concept:

I really wanted to make a tribute to Belldandy because I thought she was such an admirable person. The movie focused a lot around her, and yet most music videos are about the Belldandy/Keichii relationship rather than Belldandy as an individual, so I decided to do a character profile of her. Mainly the video is about Belldandy's hope that someday everything will turn out all right for everyone, and that someday she'll get back her memories of Keichii and they'll be like they were before: just living happily. I tried to minimize scenes of Keichii since the video isn't really about him, but Belldandy's story can't really be told without mention of him so there are a few scenes of him and Belldandy. The video will probably make more sense to someone who's watched the movie. Warning: there are some spoilers for the movie in this video.

Orphanage

Story is basically that the devil bear got into an orphanage and started to possess adults and kids just for fun, it wanted to control them to cause despair and traumas in all of them. His plan was to destroy everything and kill a kid, so he would remove the mind control to make the other kids suffer for what they have done with their own hands.

This is my first time participating in Big Contest and i'm so happy that I could finish my video.
