Madoka Magica - Only One

An AMV focusing on the relationship between Homura Akemi and Madoka Kaname. Because the short length of the show, and the short amount of time spent by the show on Homura's past it was hard to understand her "obsession" with Madoka. I think this video conveys her reasons. I tried to create a few custom scenes by swapping backgrounds and masking. I also edited the song to make it shorter and so that it would fit the story better, in my opinion.

Yes, I knew that from the moment I saw Daydreaming in those packs, my video was doomed to be mutated worldwide by YouTube. And yet I did not give a damn.
Here I insert a gigantic and standardized WARNING for psychedelic videos:

In order not to extend the description in a weird philosophical essay on the roots of this video -- or even, pretentiously, explain it --, I will take another route and simplify with these words: a very personal experiment.

К сожалению, я не мастер писать хвалебные речи. Но тем не менее, когда я впервые увидел этот клип, он меня поразил своей атмосферой и душевностью. А ведь это было уже более десяти лет назад. Один из первых (если не первый) amv на песню "Mad world" от Gary Jules, да и вообще один из лучших олдскульных amv который до сих пор восхищает и, лично у меня, вызывает чувство ностальгии. По моему мнению, этот клип просто обязан быть на Amvnews. Давно пора...

Комментарий автора: This video was incredibly important to me. I hadn't heard the cover of Tears for Fears "Mad World" until I saw the film Donnie Darko. I thought that Gary Jules brought a new level of darkness to it. What better show to use than FLCL, one of the fastest, most upbeat shows out there?

P.S. Напоминаю. Клип 2003 года. Прошу это учесть при оценивании.

My Tempest

My entry for Lucky Star IC hosted by Zona AMV, October 2017. This AMV was my comeback into editing after a hiatus, and despite it being an IC, I am really satisfied with the result. I managed to convey my feelings and that's what mattes to me the most.
Story wise, I tried to show the relationship of Yona and Hak, with a different ending, cause I'm really bad with happy endings. I hope you will enjoy it!
