One of the largest movie premieres of the year, scratch that, of all time, is almost upon us! (and is already upon you if you live in any country other than America)

This submission for Big Contest 2015 is a fun mash-up between Gurren Lagann and The Avengers, and for those who do not know, this is actually a sequel to a video I've already created. Like any good sequel, the stakes are higher. I tried to match each character based not only on looks but personality. The result was much better than anticipated, and the characters fit their counterparts well. As a side note, the quick cut editing style was done intentionally, I'm trying to learn to make cuts more impactful than they would be otherwise, as well as trying to fit a trailer's editing style.

Alkatraz (Pro): Быть новайсом хорошо - можно начинать суетиться только за три недели до дедлайна, можно кидать полусырые куски исходника на таймлайн и не беспокоиться ни о чем - все-равно про все сделает правильно, можно даже его не слушать - пусть бубнит себе чего то в скайпике про динамику, подбор сцен и неведомую концепцию с сюжетом. Ну его. Лучше кинуть еще пару левых сцен на таймлайн и подвигать их туда-сюда. Ведь про - не человек и ему предстоит бессонная ночь.

Комментарий автора: This is an AMV that I submitted to Anime Weekend Atlanta's Professional Awards Contest in 2014...and it won Best Artistic Endeavor!

I began this video about a year ago with the concept for the climax roughly completed long before the rest of the video. Later on closer to the contest deadline I got most of it finished in a single weekend before getting some reactions to it and tightening other aspects of it up to submit to AWA for the premiere.

Was really hard to make this one! The song is quit hard to edit with and to match the sync with it... It might feels at some points that it's overloaded effects, but it's that kind of song where you have to add a lot of effects to match it, worked more than usual on CC so the scenes match each other...

So this time I chosed Monogatari S2 to edit with since there is no AMV with it so far as I know and see ... I only edit the first act of it and was really fun ,, the problem was that the fights scenes wasn't enough t make the action part looks better, but it turned good with what I found :)
