This is just a little AMV that tries to retell the story of the anime. I tried to stick to the general structure of the movie, but still changed some parts. It turned out quite well, I would say, even if there are some problems later in the guitar solo part.

21st Century Metropolis

There is actually nothing to say about this AMV. Let me tell you something about modern metropolis instead.

The modern metropolis is a strange living organism. It grows. It sucks people into it. It lures them with opportunities and excitement. Its chaos hold together by a strange order and rhythm. In this cycle day and night fade together. To be awake or to sleep doesn't matter. Everything is running and up all the time. New technologies creep in and flip your life upside down. You've been to a place yesterday and now there is a new hive of apartments, offices and living quarters. The metropolis hunger drew it out from seemingly nowhere. Art installations break you up in your routine and attack your senses like guerrilla warriors. Some try to escape their dream day like state. However daily life has a tight grip on them. The sense of loneliness and sadness keeps creeping in, while you are surrounded by masses of anonymous faces, that don't matter to you. Some try to break free from the repetition and succeed. They got enough money to flee to rural areas or distant lose suburbs. Either you are a part of the monster, or you run and never come back.

This is the 21st Century Metropolis.

On a personal note: This is heavily inspired to my trips to the sprawls of Tokyo and Osaka. Those who were there, might understand my feelings. It calls to me again. After years of Covid I'm eager to go again.

Technical notes: This is a wild mix of anime, live action, stock material, found footage, fotos and 3D graphics. All held together by a colour scheme and pixelart. This took a lot of time, with a lot of long breaks and a complete overhaul. However, when I see the result, I don't want this any other way. I can't believe I indulged this madness and finished it!

Soooo this was my entry for Dokomi AMV Contest 2021.
Unfortunately I was unplaced xD
I had this AMV idea for a long tim, but it missed the right Anime scenes
until the final season of AOT was released.
This AMV is inspired by Gregz, he did something similar but with DBZ, he was my fav editor back then.
Maaaann I miss his edits..
Fun fact: The AMV is exactly 3:00 long fitting to 300 :O

Не жалуйтесь на субтитры, изначально я вообще не собирался ими заниматься, но подумал что нужно больше импакта, даже если местами будет коряво, а местами вообще ничего. Порой было трудно понять что мне переводится с китайского, когда я не знаком с исходником в кадре. Все исходники можно посмотреть на официальной странице клипа в комментариях автора (используя переводчик).

Описание автора:
Ежегодная микс кат драма 2021 года. Материал включает около 200 фан-драм, театральных анимаций, короткометражных анимационных фильмов и некоторых игровых ОП, которые были выпущены в 2021 году. Этот микс был для меня вызовом, и я также испытал много неудач (в основном вырезание большого количества контента) и, наконец, разделение его на 3 части, которые тронули меня больше всего: страсть, борьба и ожидания будущего. Вторая часть тоже попытка моего нового стиля. Я извлек уроки из работ и опыта многих предшественников, и в будущем я буду добиваться большего. The idea of this project was in my thoughts for years, and it has been put in practice during the last 3 months, spending much time on compositing, animating and rendering. I learned a lot and I hope to continue do so.

Sup peeps. 3 videos in a row. This video is also known as Greek Obsession

It's the first time I ever do a GIF for a video. I started this video right after the completion of I Loved You More. Although I wanted to give up with the making of this video I'm satisfied I completed it since I wasnt sure if a combination like this could work since Olympia Kyklos is a Stop Motion serie and it's also my first time editing with this kind of footage.

There are some references to other series during the video in case you notice them.

We back with another AMV I've been cooking up for a while. The editing part took me a week but i've been sitting on the idea and structure for like a year now. I had to learn I bunch of new stuff for this edit to be possible. i still wish to correct somethings here and there, but if I sit on it even more, I'll just start hating it.

В этом году игра Final Fantasy 9 празднует свой 20-летний юбилей! Игра вышла в Японии 7 июля, 2000 года, и чуть позже появилась в других странах. Кто не смог купить себе приставку Playstation 1, всё же смогли поиграть в эту игру с помощью компьютерного эмулятора. В этой части финалки главное вовсе не графика, а сама история о воришке Зидане и принцессе Гарнет, которая запомнится вам на всю жизнь.

Something a little more serious from me this year ^^ It's been some time since i made a multi anime amv and searching for scenes was actually less annoying than expected. I heard this song for the first time in 2014 and wanted to make an AMV with it but only managed to start working on it recently. I'm quite happy with the outcome :3 Hope you enjoy!

Oh, the description. I have to say that it has got to be a hard part as I always have a lot to say but do not know how to say it. but I will try my best.

I am sorry if the audio near the end of the video sounds weird, I raised the volume up to 400 present so it wood be closer to the main audio. The end audio is also a mono recording. I used it mainly so the ending is not silent and to make shore I keep it to less the 15 secs. Also I did not think the Christmas song I usually use is not appropriate due to the time of year.

I came up with the title as the show is about having a second chance at life.

I stuck with 29.97 fps because as it is a TV opening, it should be TV watchable.

There are spoilers for the first episode.

I use Movavi Editor 4 and a MacBook Air early 2014, which I originally purchased at Black Friday sale.

It took me a long time to find an official Russian version of the song I used. Even then it was a video game version. I eventually found the song after my video was finished.

I did find a voiceover version earlier, but it didn’t cover all of the English. I could not download the voiceover song. I will provide a link to the Russian version of the song. There should be a Russian version somewhere as it was televised Russia in 2009 on the cable channel, AXN Sci-Fi.

I will mention that Nathan Furst might have also done the opening for Max Steel. As the sources are conflicting, I did not put his name in the credits. There are also voice tracks in the opening, but I do not know if it was the original voice actors or stand-ins. So I also did not put their names in the credits. Finally, I could not find production information for the opening.
