I had been keeping my eye out for a song to use with this show, and when the K/DA -Pop/Stars music video came out, I knew it was the one. Starting in 2017 I worked on this video for 3 years and 8 months. It took so long because I was also writing a book and working full time. Had I worked on this video exclusively, it would only have taken about a year, maybe less.
This is definitely my crowning achievement when it comes to flow and sync. I put a lot of work into the transitions, much of which will go unnoticed. All effects were masked out of clips from show itself so that they appear as natural as possible.
In fact, the most complicated transition in this video is nearly invisible unless you're looking for it. At 2:05, I needed the clip of Diana flying to keep going to a second, so I used the flash of her spell to transition into another similar clip later in the movie. If you look at the background, you can see the change. I also had to digitally remove the kid riding with her in the second clip because it would be strange for him to suddenly appear there.
