There isn't much in this video that can be closely related to the feel you get from Lincoln's poem except maybe the intro blended with narration from Detachment which can be stretched to express growing up (too fast for that matter) and/or children's departure from usual child activity. The poem expresses one's sorrow (perhaps nostalgia would be more accurate) when looking back on their childhood years. The rest of the video follows the lyrics by Hollywood Undead. They too deal with the transition from the innocence of youth to the make-believe (honestly) world of grown-ups who then sort of 'forget' to care much about their children. Or not. Just my two cents. The truth is I've had an obsession with this song of theirs for a while now, and I've been looking for stuff to go together with it, so praise the lord and pass the biscuits 'cause I found enough stuff, perhaps darker than what I've been talking about but hey, it's anime.
