Gurren Lagann: Age of Spiral
One of the largest movie premieres of the year, scratch that, of all time, is almost upon us! (and is already upon you if you live in any country other than America)
This submission for Big Contest 2015 is a fun mash-up between Gurren Lagann and The Avengers, and for those who do not know, this is actually a sequel to a video I've already created. Like any good sequel, the stakes are higher. I tried to match each character based not only on looks but personality. The result was much better than anticipated, and the characters fit their counterparts well. As a side note, the quick cut editing style was done intentionally, I'm trying to learn to make cuts more impactful than they would be otherwise, as well as trying to fit a trailer's editing style.

Also, I liked how the action intensified towards the end, but in the overall video itself there was some kind of confusion for me. Like as if there were parts where I kinda fell out from the "plot" of the trailer, and then, boom, I came back. Maybe that's because it was a bit hard for me to assign the roles to the characters.

2) Имея англоязычные сабы на руках, гораздо проще сделать русские.
