Author's comment: The song, "Nice Guys Finish Last," was introduced to me by two friends. At the time, although the song was amusing, I had thought it was "okay." However, one of my friends ended up bringing up how great the song was again and again, playing it at times in the car. I had seen the music video, and was impressed by it (extremely funny), but still didn't feel that much love for the song. Finally, one day, when it was played in the car one last time, I decided to really pay attention to the song more and give it a chance, and found it more amusing.

That night, I had gone to bed when I suddenly realized, wait a minute - I can use this song for my next comedy AMV! The song had come out in May 2011 and was very new. At the same time, no one had created an AMV for it yet (at least, I hadn't found one entered in the contests). I then knew I had to make one before anyone else does.

Клип делался специально для участия в конкурсе Nan Desu Kan 2010. Author отмечает, что пришлось поторопиться для того, чтобы уложиться в дедлайн, поэтому вторая часть клипа вышла менее проработанной, чем первая.

Для SideBySide 3D версии используйте Stereoscopic Player или анаглиф шейдеры для MPC. Source и исправленный проект (кое-где были косяки) для него Для тех кто испытывает проблемы с воспроизведением 3Д версий, все дело в Muxing mode: Header stripping достаточно перемуксить файл mkvtoolnix'ом, выбрав у видео потока в поле "Stereocopy" пустое значение.

Author's comment: I made this video for Otakon 2012, but I didn't make it~ So all of you lovely people get to see it instead!

I love DRRR!! And I LOVE the Avengers. This parody might make more sense to people who have actually seen the show (as true of most thoughtful trailers), but it's something that anyone could watch and enjoy, I hope. I certainly had a lot of fun with it :3

This is actually the second version of this video ever made. The first was done back in December with my old equipment and poorer source footage. Two weeks before the AX deadline I redid the entire video from SCRATCH, new source footage, new editing, new hardware, the works.
This video is undoubtedly my best so far, and I'm glad it won something at Anime Expo! Thanks to everyone who cheered for it!

I didn't make this video like a conventional music video - it's the most radically different thing I had ever done. First I was trying to tell a story (although wrought with Irony, which people laughed at, and was there intentionally to show contrast), but more the focus of the video was to create something visually enthralling. The video is very hypnotic and I meant it to be.

I can understand some people's dislike of the video, but try and look at it a little differently than the normal AMV because I was trying to do something different. I KNOW the footage repeats - it's SUPPOSED to.
