Комментарий авторов: Hi guys! So here's an AMV mash-up using 50 anime episodes and movies that aired or premiered in 2015, paired with 50 hit songs from 2015. You're gonna need this handy-dandy spreadsheet to see the full list of anime and music, along with specific air dates. 
Five years ago, Kitsuner came up with the idea to use one of DJ Earworm's United State of Pop mash-ups with anime of the same year. He was making the video for a convention and under a deadline, so he brought me on board to help him out. The finished product was Blame It On 2009: A Good Good Year. People have been asking us to make another ever since. We actually tried to make a sequel with a third collaborator at one point, but it didn't come together too well and we ultimately scrapped it.
We saw that this year DJ Earworm's mix featured a crazy FIFTY songs, so we decided now was the time to tackle it. It took a lot of planning as we wanted to try something a little different (Spreadsheets....spreadsheets everywhere!) This time around, we wanted to pair the anime and music in such a way that when you saw a certain anime, you'd always hear the same song. This meant we needed to pick apart the mash-up and individually label each different song, then decide which anime from 2015 we wanted to pair it up with, based on the scenes we knew were available or just the overall theme. Some songs were more prevalent in the mix, others were shorter. We even made a spreadsheet with just lyrics so that we'd know what we needed to look for when clip hunting. (Here's a screenshot to give you an idea). This video took roughly two weeks of planning and two weeks of actual editing. Anyway, 2015 was a pretty cool year and I hope you guys enjoy this video!

В очередной раз откачиваю переизбытки приподнятости от возможности поучаствовать в АКРОСС-Коне. В этом году таки смог. В своей новой работе я решил соприкоснуться с достаточно непривычным и малознакомым мне жанром. Последние пару лет проработал преимущественно над сентименталами и инструменталами, в этот же раз занялся экшеном – но таким, чтоб в моем духе и с непременным присутствием сюжетной составляющей, без которой лично для себя создание клипов я не представляю. Работать над ним оказалось не менее приятно, нежели над тем же «Усатым карнавалом» или «Внутри и снаружи». Выполнен клип на песню одной из старейших японских рок-групп, берущей свое начало еще в далеких 70-х. Ох уж, эти их соляки. Ребята настолько меня затащили с этой песней, что не отпустили, пока её не отмучил. Теперь Кими свободен :D Ну и думаю, конкурсу в принципе не помешает немного ретро-звука. Конечно же, хочу пожелать всем конкурсантам удачи, выдержки и свежих впечатлений~

А пока галактика потихоньку утопает в бепределе, то здесь, то там мелькает крошка Мэри. Эх, Мэри-Мэри, кто же ты такая, Мэри..

Комментарий автора: Beat O’clock is an AMV I made with the intention of expressing my personal interpretation of the song as well as to share with the world what I visualize when I close my eyes. The definition of speed, ideas, rhythm and my own personal thoughts came along the way in the making of the video. While I was progressing, it became a continuous source of inspiration. I also wanted to choose all of these scenes in order for the viewers to freely interpret the video in their own way and not focus on an objective and narrow-minded perspective. The video was made in order for people to immerse themselves, triggering determined feelings, different from each individual. This video is especially dedicated to my friend Nanuk, who has helped me a lot along the way telling me to never give up. He hasn’t made any AMV’s yet, but he has some audiovisual knowledge and a good critical sense, making him the best spectator possible. I also wanted to thank Nostromo for inspiring me on doing what I’ve done. The editing process started not so long ago, but I’ve always had this idea in my head. Beat O’clock is a video for EDM and Anime lovers, but also for those who know how to reach the objective, sometimes hard or sometimes too simple, that is confronting yourself.

Комментарий автора: After much consideration I decided to edit to this weird new FOB song.. made during the summer I figured it would just be a loose summertime video, and I'd just kinda do whatever, then after doing some late research on the song I found that I wasn't too far off with the meaning.. the song was used in a pepsi commercial, and is a tribute to Uma Thurman as an actress. And so is this video! Except the drink I'm advertising is coca-cola, apparently.
For the main sources I was looking for anime that had a similar style. I started off with Gainax and had to throw KLK in there as well (which is a Gainax offspring). Mekakucity Actors ended up being apart of this just cause I like the studio and it kinda worked well with the dance aspect I originally had with this.
My best description of this would probably be that it's about some kids wanting to be like the strong fictional characters they see on TV.

The pairing is obvious haha and you can see my attention span and attention to detail dwindling at parts but overall I'm glad i got a chance to experiment and do some cool sync +A+

Комментарий автора: This is our entry for Akross Con 2014, I planned to enter as solo but in the end I didn't have time. Then Kain suggested that we make a collab and here we are! I'm really happy with the result even though we both made our parts in a short amount of time.

Комментарий автора: I started this video way back in March and worked on it fairly casually until about 2 months until the AWA Pro deadline where I started to spend serious time and effort to get it done in time. When I heard Uptown Funk I wanted to edit to it and Space Dandy seemed like a pretty good match. Space Dandy reminds me of retro sci fi comics and I wanted to go with that as the theme.

I started this around November 2014 (actually I had a different video idea a month prior), and it has been quite a journey with this one. Fun fact - my daughter Mae was not even born yet when I started this. How things change. :P
In 2014, I was getting back into watching anime and had joined the Quickening contest to shake off some editing rust. I quite enjoyed the process again, so I wanted to make a full video on my own once more. I saw this show called 'Baka and Test' (which seems pretty underused actually), and loved it. I wanted to make a quick and fun video (sounds familiar...). My wife Grace had always been listening to k-pop so I've been pretty bombarded by it for many years now. I asked to see if she could find me a fun song to edit with. Watching the Youtube show 'EatYourKimchi,' she found this song for me called Telepathy by Girl's Day. I was pretty excited to start my video with it. As I started the prepwork for editing, I decided to listen to other Girl's Day songs just for background music..... and then Female President came on. I was hooked.
So, a crazy idea came into my head to recreate the actual dance version of the music video...

Time to return back to the news and do a premier for the first time in a contest.

A time after premiering Bad Dog I found about this remix, and while I didn't have any video prepared, why not doing this song a video? I mentioned in Bad Dog that I didnt watch the first season of Zero no Tsukaima. This time I did and while originally I didn't plan that the serie would appear, at the end it did and it did well (in my opinion)

The video was originally planned to premier after Deuterius 2.0 but several problems and the loss of massive footage made difficult the way to finish it... until now. Special thanks to xDeuz, Ikore and ONEWAYS, also El-Tjan, I didnt forget you dude.
