IDO MEP is an Imagine Dragons Multi-Editor Project using Megamix #2 by InanimateMashups on YouTube. The end credits use their I'm So Candy Mashup. Check out their Spotify for their original music!

The project began in the AMV Central discord server as a short, easy MEP (the mix was only 3:35 long) for old editors to use to come back from hiatus, as the coordinator, SQ, had wanted to get back into editing. The mix was split into 15 second segments with the theme "Resurgence". As with any MEP, the project evolved over time, and the final result is 13 segments put together by 6 editors. We hope you enjoy our project!

Hello! This is my first entry in a competition. I hope you will like it.

- just to clarify, the guy who is abusing her is not the same guy during the story. -

Storyline: The video begins with the actual present, when we see the protagonist in a ghost form, staring at her own grave, crying. There is a frame where we see how she died, suiciding during the passage of a train. We are redirected a week ago when she was sad, hopeless and she remembers her past when she was younger, abused, derided by people and decides to cut her hair (which has a meaning in the japanese culture, this is signals some kind of dramatic, life-altering change ). She no longer can find happiness untill she meets the guy who will change her world completely, she is happy now. During his piano performance there is a terrorist attack in that place. The piano and the sakura tree symbolize heaven. Sadness comes to her once again after losing her most important person, she runs and we see how she dies (as the beginning).

It was sometime after the movie "The Greatest Showman" aired in theaters that my friend played this song and I fell in love with it. After I seen the full movie I started this one, it was a few months back actually and I'd put it off and come back to it little by little. It's seen that it's been over year since I actually made something and I had the winter break so I pushed myself to finish this.
I do expect the same criticisms I've gotten on previous videos to be held in this one but I still do think that the AMV has been given the most effort out of all my other AMVs thus far. Please enjoy!
