Всем доброго времени суток. Представляю вам мой клип, который изначально планировался для Free Zone, но возникли разные обстоятельства и работа над клипом затянулась. О клипе могу сказать, что это просто лайтовый фан, с малой доли романтики. Также хочу выразить благодарность тем, кто помогал делать клип лучше, а именно своей студии, в частности Dm1try[A], Vipper и AmyLee.

About the project: In january 2014 I started this project after I totally fell in love with the song! It has been a long time since I last started editing because I really loved a song and wanted to see it in good combination with the right anime. I also wanted to edit with SAO (the Aincrad-part...everything else sucks) someday and so I took the chance.
It was a lot of fun working with this although it was very hard sometimes. I wanted to find the perfect scenes for every part of the song. That means I looked through every episode at least 20times and changed some parts on the timeline at least 100times lol
Seriously...the amv was a lot more work than it looks! The time I was busy with scene selection others would have built a whole fancy FX-video....and thats why it took this long for me to finish it - at least I decided to put an end to it now. I could have spent even more time with it but that wouldn't make it any better.

About the video: Simple story. I tried to fokus on Kirito and his feelings about saving the other players. He should look desperate and without much hope but always fighting to save others. That was the most difficult thing: not to use any scenes where he looks like he is having fun or something :D

Комментарий автора: Doing a video like this has been rolling around my head for a few months now, It all started with an idea to make something "trippy and comedic" then went on to be "a spooky instrumental" then I thought it should be "bloody and disturbing" just because I've never done anything like that before. It eventually became something that had all of that rolled into one.

After looking everywhere for the right type of music I changed my mind on it several times. Then one day I guess I was looking at some old videos that got me into this amv stuff in the first place and rewatched Naruto's Technique Beat, I just happened to be curious about the music and found out it was made for the Resident Evil movie soundtrack, so now I see the potential the song has as horror music-- AND it contained no lyrics which was just what I was looking for.

The intensity of the music made room for a more action feel, which is what I'm use to editing with anyway - and that brings me to say I purposely went nuts on the effects, more than usual, but I think I have a better grip on it now and it's not as messy.

I don't know how offensive some people might find some of the scenes on this but I feel like I need to give some sort of disclaimer.. it's really not that bad, it's all brief, but the main things are: blood (which I actually darkened to not make it look so violent), self harm, broken bones, people being eaten, implications of seizing and unwanted touching, general body horror-but nothing too bad I hope.

The theme of the maniacal smile came up while I was editing and I noticed how there's aLOT of creepy smiles in anime sometimes a smile goes into laughter which at that point just becomes madness, hence maniacal.

Wanted to edit Gungrave for a long time, found some inspiration last weeks, started working but it was pretty hard for me, also i wanted to finish it to Free Zone deadline, but well, editing is hard thing, i rushed and as a result it looks totally not like i wanted it to be, atleast hope you'll like scene selection, i tried to found really good scenes for this one :)

I was going to try finishing it for Otakon but since I wasn't going there this year and was going to AWA and wanted to make sure I had something to submit to their Pro contest I ended up finishing it up for that.

I'm aware the song is painfully overdone but I still wanted to finish the video anyways.

Осознав, что я не успею сделать то что хотел,то пришлось что то придумывать новое за короткий срок. В общем наткнулся я на просторах инета на Skindred - Ninja и тут покатилось. За 7 дней я возненавидел этот трек полностью, тема клипа и так по названию понятна. Пожалуйста, перед просмотром выключите свет и отодвиньтесь от экрана.

I was gonna use this song for some fun credits in my action amv but I thought....this might just be fun in general. Plus I got to make even more fun credits for this one!! :D I was sooo excited that I actually won

Спасибо всем, кто помогал советом и просто поддержал в процессе работы. Без Вашей поддержки не было бы даже этой скромной, технически простой и незатейливой работы. Все равно, к сожалению, по своей давней традиции мало учитывала советы. И, в итоге, оставила все почти в первоначальном варианте. Поэтому, во избежание ненужных «шишек», не ссылаюсь прямо ни на каких бета-тестеров. Извините, если кого-то забыла упомянуть в титрах.
