Well this was made for the Enigma's Time IC about a year ago but I finally decided to upload it here. Nothing too special but it was fun making it. We ended up placing 4th and getting 2nd best MEP although it wasn't the biggest competition. Hope y'all like it.

Для меня это была самая необычная моя работа, начиная с выбора жанра и заканчивая рендером (еще никогда мне не приходилось начинать клип в After Effects, а заканчивать в Sony Vegas). И да, этот рендер я запомню надолго...
PS Спасибо организаторам фестиваля за подаренную возможность наконец-таки посмотреть свой клип на большом экране и под аплодисменты полного зрительного зала. Это было потрясающе =)
PPS И конечно же хотелось сказать слова благодарности Frame'у и Kairos'у за помощь, вдохновение и поддержку во время бессонных ночей!!!

Идея этой AMV возникла случайно. Песня "Некромант" и аниме "Akira" очень подходят к друг другу. Мы подумали: "А почему не сделать историю человека который обречён страдать от своей злой судьбы", ведь у каждого есть своя карма, которой он не хочет подчиняться, но жизненные обстоятельства вынуждают тебя идти наперекор себе... Получилось это или нет, судить вам.

Выдержка из комментария автора: This one is a full hearted character profile (in spite of not having entered in that category at Akross...) The story is centered on the protagonist of the anime, Chihaya, her pursuit to become to best karuta player in Japan and the people she's being supported by. The anime plays with the thematics of facing challenges and overcoming oneself in quite a dramatic manner and I wanted to convey all of this in my video. My simple idea here was to depict Chihaya's devotion towards karuta and her loyalty to the people she's close to even though she might get hurt in the process (hence the title). This whole video was one big camera movement experiment for me. It was fun to play with them. Even if it made some people nauseous :3

Here is my AMV for the Iron Chief SpeedProof 2nd edition. I made it on 3 days. It's the first time I am editing psychedelic amv and I am quite happy with the final result. Enjoy.

Выдержка из комментария автора: The title says what it means and means what it says. I'd been meaning to create a trailer for years, but I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. Then more recently I'd seen the Fast & Furious 6 trailer and really enjoyed it. All of a sudden an idea clicked. Thanks to my Iron Editor experience I was able to figure out a source that I wanted to use. I really had fun making this one and am pleased with how it turned out. It was also refreshing to make a completely new AMV outside of Iron Editor.
