If a contestant fails to vote in the category where his/her video is nominated, then the total amount of points that this video gets shall be decreased by a maximum number of points possible for this category. It can affect final rating substantially. You must fill in all slots when filling in the voting form. Voting deadline is November 16th, 15.00 Moscow time (UTC+3)

All contest participants whose AMVs are eligible for the first round can take part in the voting now, as well as 6 jury members. Voting in first round is totally voluntary.
There are 2 contest nominations to vote in. Some of those include all videos, others include only the videos which match the nomination thematically. Finalists in each nomination will be chosen during first round voting. First round voting ends November 14th, 12-00 Moscow time (UTC+3). 'Shock and D'aww' is a light-hearted Halloween themed MEP. Editors were tasked to use scenes with Anime characters in costume. No gore, violence or supernatural stuff. Just Halloween, like you might normally experience it. The parts were to be wholesome and cute.

This is our 20th MEP and incidentally in 2023, the german AMV Community AnimeMusikVideos.de also turned 20 years old. Regards and Prost!
