An intense action AMV involving my favorite shows to edit with. This is my first anime mix, and I thought a fun way to get into it was to create a fan-made battle royale between the shows. Hopefully you all enjoy the connections between the shows and the awesome music!

Комментарий автора: I was in the midst of struggling to come up with a video for NDK '15, and Yue sends me the list of sources for the NDK Iron Chef event, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia being one of them. I watched the first 5 episodes required for the IC, got totally hooked, and therefore binged the rest of it the same day. :p The basic premise of the show is that one day the main character (Teiichi) stumbles across Yuuko, a ghost that wanders one of his school's old buildings, and has lost her memories of her past life. For the video, it's all from the Teichii's point of view, reflecting back on their relationship, and their journey to regain her memories. The video in itself is very spoilerifc (sorry), but I hope it gets some people interested in watching the show, because I absolutely adore it.

Thanks a bunch to Reigna, Kisanzi, and Radical_Yue for beta testing for me multiple times, and providing me with a ton of great feedback! Couldn't have finished this without you guys.

I really like the Anime and when I first saw episode 1, I already started making plans for an amv. I think the Story might be hard to understand if you haven`t watched the show - I tried to capture the impressions the show gave me and I am very happy with the result.^^ I just hope I can convince some people to watch this awesome Anime! Enjoy~

Project π

This is my very first try to create an AMV; because of that, I have focused on learning the workflow of creating an AMV with the creation of Project π. Furthermore I have to thank lolligerjoj for sharing his workflow regarding to take usage from Twixtor to achieve fluid motions within the AMV. Nevertheless I have to admit that the 60fps-workflow was very confusing for the first time and as a consequence I was not able to use much 3D-transitions, because my AMV-structure inside of After Effects was in some kind of way a bit inverted, which caused me a lot of trouble. In the end I am still very pleased with my first result and have retrospectively learned much about working with After Effects.

I also hope that the coherence of the AMV is at least a bit understandable. The title is not a random one: The Archimedes' constant describes the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, also Mirai Kuriyama's life is not a simple line, which ends at some point; rather her life equals a circle in a metaphoric way. So she also have more than one chance to enjoy her life, even if she has at first the opinion that she would not be allowed to enjoy it, because of the history of her family.

Ever get into an extreme situation then wonder how you got there? Well, then let's go back to where it starts.

This video was a request I had to use Guilty Crown and a curious concept I had and wondered if it would be possible to share in a tragic story where things actually got better as the story goes on, where the payoffs come first and then the set up...a very frustrating piece of work to put together where not until this final version was I satisfied with the result.
